Dear colleagues, teachers, students and friends,
XLAB likes to invite high school students from all over the world to participate in our 3nd International Science Camp in Summer 2004. The Camp offers several experimental courses in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. It takes place from 13th of August to 7th of September 05 on the science campus of the famous University of Göttingen (Germany, Lower Saxony). The 1st and 2nd International Science Camp in the summer of 2003 and 2004 turned out to be a great success. 80 Students from 16 different nations participated in 15 different experimental courses during three weeks and had one additional week of excursion. In 2005 we will accept altogether about 40 students, only 2 to 4 students from each country. The scientific program will be very similar, but finally in our own new building right next to the guesthouse on the north campus of the University of Göttingen. You will find the preliminary program attached and also on our website www.xlab-goettingen.de. Beside the International Science Camp XLAB offers many other experimental science courses during the holidays. Just have a look on our website! XLAB heartily welcomes students from EU-Member and EU-Candidate states, as well as students from every place in the world! We ask teachers, scientists and political authorities to distribute this message among bright and talented students you know. Please contact us if you are interested.
