Young Scientists' Club in France
A great initiative has been established when Christian Mokabidila, French research student founded a young scientists' club at his school. Christian said that his school has been very supportive: "my school permits students to realize scientist projects, for instance in robotics, in mathematics...it permits me to do a kind of campaign for Science Academie and our scientist festival in my city."
The recently formed Scientists' Club has already 15 student members. The club gives an opportunity for its members to get engaged in different Science & Technology projects, e.g. in robotics (see photos). They have also made different polyeders. The club invites scientist-guests, such as Edgar Morin, the great sociologist and François Taddei from the Science Academie.
This is the type of initiatives that NYEX wishes to encourage everywhere. We do hope that other research students will follow this example. We wish many successful projects for the Young Scientists' Club!
